When do I need to take attendance? 

• Practice: Attendance must be taken at the start of every practice. 

• Games/ Tournaments: Attendance must be taken at the start of games/tournaments at FIS. 

• Trips: Attendance must be taken before departing FIS to go on a trip. 

Why is it important that I take attendance in Veracross?

Veracross is our school information system. When we have a fire drill, an emergency or need to do contact tracing for medical purposes, our Security Department and Crisis Team checks Veracross to locate each student. 

How do I take attendance? 

All attendance must be taken in Veracross. You can take attendance by logging into the faculty/staff portal. You can log in on your smartphone, tablet or laptop. Your team will show up under the header "Today" on the day of practice/ the event. Click on "Attendance->" to see the roster and take attendance. 

Are you new and do not have a Veracross account yet? Contact athletics@fis.edu.

Consent forms are completed electronically in Veracross and there are no more paper copies. An email will be sent out to parents and athletes once selections have been made with links to complete the forms. Please remind your team to complete the forms as soon as they receive the email.
